About Sunsets & Tea

Sunsets and tea is a project that started back in 2018. Three girls from a little island called Malta, during a night out, discussing life and sipping wine, came up with an idea. In a world where negativity was on the agenda of every news bulletin, we felt like putting in a bit of sunshine through art, books, travel and all that inspires us towards a more positive life.

Why the name Sunsets and tea you may ask? Well, how do you feel when you look at a beautiful sunset? Excited, in awe? What’s the main purpose of a cup of tea? To be calm and sip while snuggled underneath a blanket on a cold rainy day, right? Well, that’s the purpose of this blog. To make you excited and stand in awe in front of life. To read words that calm your storm.

Fast forward to 2020, the year that no one wants to relive. And then there was one. Not because the friendship didn’t last, far from that. But life happens, everyone needs to move on to pursue other things.

During this year, the blog gained a new meaning in my life. Sitting down to write helped me make sense of the things happening around me. It is also my tiny place on the internet, from where I can speak to the world in some way or another.

And so, while hoping that you’re still hanging in there, and bracing the storm, you may find some kind of comfort over here. My purpose is to write about things that inspire me to stay positive. From places that I have been, music that I listen to, films that have inspired me, and any thoughts that I feel worth sharing with the world. I want to write it all and share it with you.

Feel free to connect with me through social media (links for the various platforms are available on the website), or drop me an email here. Every few weeks, I’m trying to connect with my readers through a newsletter, where I share my latest post, as well as a few other things. You can subscribe here

Sharing our journey on earth is what we’re here for. Thank you for stopping by! I look forward to sharing my journey with you.
