Beatrix Potter

Once upon a time, there were four little Rabbits, and their names were Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail, and Peter.

These ‘first few words’ written by Beatrix Potter many years ago, opened the door to a wonderful imaginary world for children all around the world.

Beatrix Potter was born on the 28th July 1866 in London.  She was an English writer, illustrator, natural scientist, and conservationist. She is best known for her children’s books featuring animals, such as those in The Tale of Peter Rabbit
